Last year when we went to Italy, I used my 2 Sues Kelly Moore Bag, which was a good crossbody camera bag, but I’m not gonna lie, it got heavy and it was a little big for our hikes. I still love that bag, and I really don’t know what I would have used without it when we spent two weeks traveling all over Italy.
This year, I’d on the hunt for something smaller, yet really stylish and something I can use as a handbag as well as a crossbody bag and not just for photography. I really want it to look like a purse and not so much as a camera bag. There’s a few that I’ve found and love, but I can’t seem to make a decision on which one. I’m tempted to buy all three and try them out with my gear to see how heavy they are, but I’m worried I’ll love them all and not want to send them back… which has happened before. 😉
My 3 top picks are:
- Claremont from Lo & Sons – This bag is super stylish, and I can’t decided which color I would want (gray or brown). Plus, the price tag is a bit on the high side for me right now. I’ve read some really good reviews about it though, so maybe I can swing it before our big trip?
- Ruston from Kelly Moore Bag – I love this bag, but I’m worried it’s too big for what I really want to use for this trip. I also cannot decide on a color in this bag either. I really, really love the red, but I also love the bone color as well. The black is great, too, but I don’t use black bags that often. This price is way more affordable, and you can use it as a crossbody and handbag as well, plus it holds a ton of stuff. I own 3 Kelly Moore bags (Mimi, Brownlee, 2 Sues), and they’re all great, so I’m sure this one is just as fantastic.
- Siena from Jo Totes (Johansen) – This one is super stylish as well, but it only comes in brown, so if I want a different color, this one is off the list for sure, but the price is great and definitely competes with the others.
Luckily for me, I have a couples months to decide on which bag I want, but it’s such a hard decision. I’m planning to bring my Nikon D750, 20 mm lens, and probably my 24-70 mm lens as well. Do you own any of these bags? If not, what do you use as a crossbody bag that fits a camera with a lens or two?
