Happy almost Valentine’s Day! We don’t usually celebrate it too much in our home, but my husband surprised me with these beautiful flowers from Farmgirl Flowers, and I just had to share some photos of them on our breakfast room table! He doesn’t send flowers too often, so when I do get them, it’s such a fun surprise and much more meaningful.
Farmgirl Flowers is probably my favorite floral shop that I’ve found so far. They’re so unique, and I feel like you get so much for the price! Of course I love supporting local florists as well, but Farmgirl is just a step above those with the amount of greenery and unique flowers they include in their bouquets. They seem much more modern and unique compared to some of our local florists.
Ever since I found out that I was pregnant, I really haven’t spent as much time decorating our tables for the holidays. I’m not sure what it is, but I guess my focus has just been elsewhere. 😉 I don’t think we have any plans to do any celebrating outside our home for Valentine’s Day, so I went ahead and created a little tablescape just in case we do stay home and enjoy a nice meal by candlelight.
Oh, see those cupcakes on the plates? Those are from my mom! She’s always so thoughtful with her Valentine’s Day gifts, and she definitely knows the way to this pregnant mama’s heart… and tummy! 😉 I’m trying not to eat all of the cupcakes before Jacob gets home, but they’re just SO good! They’re from a local bakery in my area – Jo’s Party House. Yum!!
What are your Valentine’s Day traditions? Do you usually go out to celebrate or are you and your significant other more like homebodies and prefer to stay in for the evening?
P.S. in case you’re wondering where everything is from, here’s the list, but everything featured is at least a year old:
