These past three weeks have been so incredibly busy: my dear friend’s rehearsal dinner and wedding, a concert out of town with my mom and then a two week trip to Italy and Paris. My original plan was to write these posts ahead of time, but with all of the planning for a rehearsal dinner (more on that later) and then packing for our trip, things just got out of hand and time ran out! I had a list of things I really wanted to get done before we left for Italy, and I barely tackled anything on the list (oops!).
So, in order to get back on track, I’ll be sharing a couple of posts for the next two weeks, so I’m not so behind on my gift guide.
This week’s gift guide focuses on those men in your life. I always have a difficult time buying for my husband and my dad, so I usually ask what they would like. This year, I’m hoping to find a few things on my own, so there’s a surprise or two in their presents.
Here’s some items I think would make great gifts:
Patagonia Jacket – My husband rarely wears jackets since we’re in Louisiana, and he’s *always* hot, but this one looks really nice and not too thick or smothering.
Bose Bluetooth Speaker – Bose speakers are usually top notch, so I would think this small one would be great for at home and also one you could pack easily in your luggage while travelling.
Lomography Instant Camera – Instant cameras are so fun, especially for those vintage/hip guys in your life. If your man enjoys taking photos, I bet he’ll enjoy this spiffy little camera.
Bosca Wallet – Wallets are always a good gift idea! I love buying nice quality leather wallets for family members.
Skagen Watch – This is a great everyday watch. It’s not too fancy, but it can be dressed up or down depending on the outfit.
Yeti Tumbler – Yeti… need I say more? There’s other brands that work just as great too! We own the RTIC tumbler, and it definitely works as expected.
Swiss Pocket Knife – A pocket knife is a great little tool for that guy you have a hard time buying for. You can wrap it up or put it in a stocking as their gift.
Amazon Fire Stick – I’ve been thinking about getting one of these or the google chromecast for our home.
Three Jerks Beef Jerky – This jerky is SO good! I purchased some for Jacob a couple of years ago, and it was really good. He actually enjoyed the original flavor the best.
Fossil Q Watch – Smart watches are totally in right now. If you aren’t a big Apple fan, this watch might be the perfect one for your guy. It’s supported by Android and Apple. 😉
A few other gift ideas are any of those “month clubs” where they send a new box every month. You could do the shave club, order high quality meat, etc. There’s so many options!
I hope this gift guide for men helps out just a little bit with your holiday shopping. Men can be so hard to buy for sometimes, so maybe these will give you a couple of ideas or at least help you come up with your own ideas.
Happy shopping!
