I shared some of my favorite Valentine’s Day gifts for her last week, so this week, I wanted to share some of my favorite finds for staying at home to celebrate holiday. Decorating and prepping for Valentine’s Day can be so fun, especially when you’re spreading a little love around the house. Whether it’s decorating a tablescape, buying fresh flowers and putting them in a cute vase, or using some festive plates to make your honey breakfast in bed, decorating for staying in on Valentine’s Day can really spice up the holiday fun.
Ribbon Tassel Banner – I love banners like these, and the best part is this one is already put together, and it’s the perfect colors for Valentine’s Day! Hang it on a wall above your bed or on your bar cart, and you’ve got the start of some fun holiday decor.
Cake Stand – I think everyone needs at least one cake stand (I have probably 20… whoops!). But how adorable would this be on a bar cart or table filled with yummy donuts or fruit or a stack of pancakes?
Heart Pancake Set – Who wouldn’t love heart shaped pancakes on Valentine’s Day? This set makes it so easy to make that shape! You could also use it for an anniversary surprise as well, so double win on the heart shaped pancakes!! 😉
Ice Cream Bowl Set – I LOVE LOVE LOVE ice cream. Seriously, it’s an obsession, and how adorable are these gold heart bowls and scoop??!! So, so fun! How about ice cream for breakfast in bed? Sounds perfect to me! Don’t forget the pancakes on the side though. HA!
Love topper – I love toppers like these. They great for cakes or stacks of pancakes, of course! You can use it for Valentine’s Day or an anniversary, so double win again!
Bed Tray – If you are serving breakfast in bed, don’t forget to buy a tray! This one would be perfect.
Vase – This heart shaped vase is so cute! Buy your sweetie some flowers and pop them into this vase!!
Heart Shaped Eggs – Not into pancakes? How about heart shaped eggs instead?! This pan wold make that super easy!
Those are just some of the easy things you can do to create a memorable Valentine’s Day morning if you choose to stay in and celebrate, especially with breakfast in bed. Do you ever serve breakfast in bed? If not, I’ve just jump-started you on some great ideas for Valentine’s Day. 😉
