Christmas is always so hectic, so putting together a New Year’s tablescape is always quite the rush. This year, I wanted to do a black and gold glitzy tablescape for our dining table.
Here’s how the tablescape turned out:
I picked up a gold sequin tablecloth a few months ago when I was planning the Bachelorette party for my friend. I ended up not using it, but I still had it, so why not use it for the New Year’s tablscape instead? It was perfect!!! Gold and sequins… need I say more?
I had some clear beaded chargers I’ve been wanting to use on our table, so I finally took advantage with this tablescape. I paired them with some gold and white modern plates from HomeGoods, and then on top of those, I placed black plates I ordered from Zulily, similar to these. The cute little clock plates I picked up from Marshall’s a year ago were perfect for counting down to 2017!
I used some plain white napkins and then my gold flatware. Some fancier glasses added the perfect dressy touch to the table, which you can find similar ones here.
All of that created the perfect glitzy black and gold New Year’s tablescape! Next up for the table? Coming up with a Valentine’s Day theme!
Do you set out a tablescape for the holidays? If so, share a link to yours, so I can see.
Also, if you missed it, I shared my resolutions for the new year, and I also created a 2017 goals sheet where you can write down all of the goals you hope to achieve throughout the year!
